EXCESSIVE HEAT WARNING IN EFFECT FROM 2 PM TUESDAY TO 9 PM PDT FRIDAY

The Roy H. Murphy Community Center will have the Youth Room and other rooms as they become available open as cooling stations Tuesday through Friday. These rooms are air conditioned and have access to water and restrooms.

TEMPERATURE…Unusually hot weather is forecast to begin Tuesday and continue through Friday, with widespread record highs on Wednesday and Thursday. Thursday should be the hottest day in this stretch for most spots, and high temperatures will probably be within 5 degrees of the all-time record high. Highs on Tuesday will be in the mid 80s to lower 90s warming to the 90s to near 105 on Thursday. Friday will be a bit cooler, but highs will still be in the upper 80s and 90s.
