A special event on private or public property or which will necessitate the use of the public right-of-way is required to obtain a special events permit. This includes block parties, parades, promotions, festivals and other temporary events that may impact traffic, safety, or neighbors.

Applications need to be turned into the City Clerk at least 30 days prior to the event in order to properly route the request to all departments.

Special event application fee: $25.00

There is no fee for a block party.
