And the challenge is on! *\n\nThe rules are simple:\n\nBe creative.\nThink outside the box.\nYou can create one scarecow or a big display … it’s up to you!\nHave FUN.\nKeep it clean (PG rated for our young community members).\nYour display must be visible from the street.\nAND finally …. must be hand made (not purchased\, rented or borrowed).\nEntry Fee: FREE! DESCRIPTION:National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that enhances the relationship between neighbors and law enforcement\, while promoting an ongoing sense of community.\nAfter being canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic\, we are excited to gather and celebrate our community in a safe\, fun and positive way.\nWe pride ourselves on presenting a spectacular event each year. This year’s National Night Out will be modified\, which will include a fireworks display\, parachuters\, and volunteers handing out free water and ice cream.\nThe event will kick off at approximately 8:30 when skydivers will be dropping in to join us. They will be followed by the biggest fireworks display in our event history.\nWe are hopeful that COVID restrictions will be in our rear-view mirror next year\, and that the Fircrest Police Department can put on our usual award-winning National Night Out event for our community.\nSave the date and come down to the Fircrest Community Center\, and meet your Fircrest Police Department. \n  \nMore info: National Night Out \n

DESCRIPTION:On St. Patrick’s Day (March 17th) we will hide 100 limited edition Fircrest Medallions around our community. They will be hidden in public areas around the City of Fircrest\, including the Parks\, \nThere is only one RULE:  Please do NOT keep more than ONE medallion. \nThis will be on an honor system. One medallion per household will allow more community members a chance to find one. This event is all about getting outdoors to have some fun! \nThe DETAILS \n\nTake your medallion to our sponsor\, OPTIMUM Physical Therapy\, 1017 Regents Blvd.\, to receive your bag o’ GOLD chocolate candy coins.** (You will be able to keep your medallion.)\nOn the back of your medallion you’ll find a number.  All the medallions will be numbered 1-100. One special number has been chosen in advance and the person who finds it will win the special prize basket donated by OPTIMUM Physical Therapy!
