The last chance for items left at the Pool and Community Center over the summer will be from September 26th-October 2nd. \n\nAll clothing\, hats\, shoes\, and misc. items will be on display in the Gathering Space. These items will not be monitored. Fircrest Parks & Recreation is not responsible for any belongs displayed at the Community Center. After October 2nd these items will be disposed of or donated.\nSmall valuables\, wallets\, and keys will not be displayed. To claim a small valuable\, wallet\, or keys; inquire at the reception desk with an accurate description of the item. After October 2nd\, if the perceived value of the items is more than $100; items will be taken to the Fircrest Police Department. Items with a perceived value of less than $100 in this category will be disposed of.\n\nPlease take this opportunity to find your lost items. All unclaimed items will be resolved appropriately after October 2nd\, 2022. \n  \n  \nLost and Found Policy:\nThe City of Fircrest is not responsible for any belongings of persons using a facility or park. Lost and found items will be kept for a period of two (2) weeks unless the perceived value of the item is greater than $100. Your goal is to create the most creative and unique ‘scarecrow’ in Fircrest. And the challenge is on! * \nTimeline:\n\nOctober 11th: Registration Deadline\nOctober 19th: Homes are decorated and ready for viewing\nOctober 19th: Receive your participant yard sign\nOctober 19th: Self Guided Tour Sheets become available\nOctober 25th-26th: Judging!\nOctober 28th: Winners announced!\n\nAn electronic list of registered homes\, for self-guided tours\, will be available on the City of Fircrest Website and City Facebook event page. SUMMARY:Fircrest FIT Week
DESCRIPTION:Come join us for a week of FREE Fitness in the Park! We’ve gathered fitness leaders from across our area to bring you a fun variety of classes to experience. Whether you work out daily or don’t exercise at all\, we have something for you.\nOur goal is to introduce you to resources that will help you reach your fitness potential and become a stronger\, healthier you. To make it even better\, we’re doing it all outdoors!\nFircrest FIT Week happens Monday\, July 19 through Friday\, July 23\, 2021. Classes are offered at 8:30 am\, 9 am or 5 pm. Class locations include Fircrest Park Pavilion; Edwards Aquatic Center Pool or Patio; and the Tennis Courts on Electron Street.\nHere are a few additional details:\n\nYou must register for the cla\nsses you wish to take.\nFill out the form by following this link https://form.jotform.com/FircrestParksandRec…/fircrest-fit\nSign up for as many classes as you’d like!\nClass descriptions\, along with date and time are listed on the registration form.\nAll classes are FREE.\nClasses are open to anyone.\nA waiver form is required to participate.\nPlease check in 10-15 minutes before class begins.\nBring a mat or towel for any class that requires floor work.\nInstructors will have information about their gym and the additional classes they teach. This will be available at the info table before and after their class.\nLight snacks\, water and coffee will be provided after the morning classes by our SUPPORTING SPONSORS. Please stop by and say thanks to our sponsors for supporting our event.\n\nIf you’re a Fircrest resident\, you will receive a Fircrest FIT racing buff. * Just show your ID (driver’s license) for proof of residency when you check in for your class. \nIn addition to the structured classes\, we encourage you to enjoy an evening walk with other community members. Meet up at the Fircrest Park Pavilion at 7 pm each evening for a casual stroll around Fircrest.
