Parker ADU

Case number 18-09

The City has received, and deemed complete, a Conditional Use Permit application for a detached accessory structure at 106 Berkeley Avenue. (Type III-A Application) The Planning Commission will hear this case on December 4, 2018 at the regularly scheduled meeting. The Conditional Use Permit application is to convert an existing 400- square foot garage into a detached accessory dwelling unit.

2018 Work Plan

This is the approved work plan for the Planning Commission. This document is for planning purposes only and may be modified as items or issues arise.

Golf Course Condo Project – updated 6/6/18

A site development permit was issued May 12, 2018. This permit authorizes the developer to begin clearing, grading, installing utilities and constructing the street and sidewalks. Site work begins the week of 6/4/2018.

The next steps include the final site plan and design approval, including landscaping and building design. Approval must be obtained before the actual construction plans for the condos may be approved.

2018 Comprehensive Plan Update

Case number: 18-03

Chapter 23.06 Comprehensive Plan Amendments establishes the process by which the Fircrest Comprehensive Plan can be updated and amended each year.

The window for private application is from April 2 – June 1, 2018

New Commercial Building: Chick-fil-A restaurant

Case number: 18-06

The City has approved an application for a preliminary site plan review and an accessory use permit for a 6,545-square foot restaurant with drive-thru as well as a major variance for additional parking. Please see the link for More Details

Proposed Change to Hearing Examiner

The City Council at the recommendation of Staff has directed the Planning Commission to consider amendments to the Fircrest Municipal Code, enacting the use of a Hearing Examiner for quasi-judicial planning items.
