DESCRIPTION:Join us at Fircrest Park for a FREE TREE Giveaway Event! \n10 am: The EVENT: \n\nWhy we love our trees\nHow to plant and care for your sapling\nTree planting demonstration\nChalk art for kids\n\n10-12: \n\nTree Pick-up (come early to get your choice of sapling)\nInfo Booths! Learn about native plants\, birds\, weeds\, environmental justice and more\n\n11-12: Plant a tree at Whittier Park. We’ll provide the trees\, you get to practice the planting skills you just learned.
