DESCRIPTION:It’s a 4K adventure for pups & people brought to you by our generous Title Sponsor: Unleashed Doggie Daycare \nand our Swag Sponsor: Chopper’s Holistic Pet Foods \nGather up your furry pets and join us for a FUN morning around Fircrest. \nThe Furry 4K is back and it’s going to be better than ever! \nHere’s everything you need to know! \nREGISTRATION BEGINS JUNE 10TH. \nDate: July 20\, 2024 \nTime: 8:30 am \nCheck-in and goody bag* pick-up begins at 7:30 am on July 20th. \nIf your furry friend needs a little more time or space to participate\, you can start the F4K a little earlier. \nYou may also pick up your goody bag on Friday\, July 19th from 5:00 pm – 8:00 pm at the Fircrest FUN Booth on the Community Center Plaza. \nRoute: all around Fircrest \nThe F4K course is 4 kilometers (approximately)\, easy and enjoyable for all ages and ability levels. Water will be available on the course for both animal and human participants. To save on waste please bring your own cup/bowl/bottle! \nRegistration: Required \nRegistration opens on June 10th. \nCost: FREE \nA“WAG” bag for your pet is included * \n*while supplies last \nRULES OF PARTICIPATION: \n\nPets must be current on vaccinations\nNo aggressive pets\nNo female dogs in heat\nNo more than two beasts per adult human\nKeep all pets on a 7-foot leash or shorter at all times (packs and strollers are OK)\nNo pups under the age of six months\nPlease\, clean up after your pet!\nWaste bags will be at the start line and water stops in case you forget\nRun or walk the course only if you and your pet are in adequate physical condition\nStrollers are welcome on the course\nDepending on the number of registrants\, you may be asked to organize at the start line according to speed\nPlease take lots of photos at the event and post on your social media with #fircrestfurry4K #fircrestfundays2024\n\n* while supplies last \nQuestions: Please contact Judy at jschmdtke@cityoffircrest.net.
