Standard service can be up to 11 weeks from your appointment.
Need to rush? – For an extra $60, you can expedite. Expedited service can be 5-7 weeks from your appointment.

The City of Fircrest, Planning & Building Department is proud to be a passport acceptance agency. Below is some valuable information to make the process easier.
First-Time Adults (16 years or older)
For first-time adults, adults who have lost their passports, or adults who are ineligible for a renewal form.
The following items are required:
- Applicant must be present
- Complete application (DS-11)
- Passport Photo
- Original certified birth certificate, previous passport, or other proof of citizenship
- Photocopy of above (front and back as applicable)*
- Picture ID (driver license, passport, military)
- Photocopy of ID (front and back)*
- Payment to US Department of State: must be a check or money order – click for most current fees and processing options
- Payment to City of Fircrest: $35 – We accept cash, check, debit, or credit card
*We can make photocopies for you
Minors (15 years or younger)
First-time and renewal of minor passports must be submitted in person with the DS-11 form. For more info and forms, click here.
For 16- and 17-year-olds: applications must be submitted in person, see Applicants Age 16 and 17 (state.gov) for additional information.
The following items are required:
- Applicant (child) must be present
- Complete application (DS-11)
- Passport Photo
- Original certified birth certificate, previous passport, or other proof of citizenship
- Photocopy of birth certificate – required even if submitting previous passport (front and back)*
- Parent(s) listed on birth certificate must be present or provide a “statement of consent” form
- Parents’ Picture ID (driver license, passport, military)
- Photocopy of ID (front and back)*

Adult Passport Renewal
We are not authorized to accept adults renewals. Adult passports are renewed via mail.
