Fircrest Parks and Recreation plans a monthly trip for seniors to adventure across our area. We have visited Snoqualmie, Seattle, Lacey, and more! There are 13 seats available for every trip.

Beginner Barre

Program Type: Adult Fitness
Fee: $60/Month $15/Drop-in

In this class, you will learn body placement and awareness, combining Pilates, yoga and ballet. We will begin with a flow yoga warm-up, followed by a lightweight upper body workout and finished with movement at the barre. Each class will conclude with stretching and breathing.

Please wear comfortable clothes to move in and bring a yoga mat.

 

 


Barre / HIIT

Program Type: Adult Fitness
Fee: $60/Month $15/Drop-in

Fridays
10:30AM-11:30AM

This class is a full body workout, alternating strength and cardio. We will begin with a 15 minute warm-up and move with timed intervals using weights and movements at the barre. This class will work balance, core, and both upper and lower body.

Please wear comfortable clothes to move in and bring a yoga mat.

Barre is a low impact work out combining Pilates yoga and ballet using isometric movement. Class will begin with a flow warm-up, working balance, core and upper body. We will continue working small and large muscle groups at the barre and finish with stretching, centering and breathing on the mat.

Gentle Yoga

Learn and practice yoga to build strength, increase flexibility, and improve balance. This one-hour class includes seated, standing and balance postures, stretching, relaxation and yogic breathing.

Bring your yoga mat, blanket/towel, water bottle and yoga blocks if you have them. Gentle hatha yoga classes meet Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 9am to 10am. Join us for movement, community and connection!

 


 

Chair Yoga

Learn and practice gentle yoga utilizing a chair for support. Class will include seated and standing yoga poses, stretching, balance practice, yogic breath and relaxation. Movement in class is designed to build strength, increase flexibility and improve balance.

Bring a yoga mat and a water bottle. Class meets on Mondays and Wednesdays from 10:30-11:30am. Join us for movement, community and connection!

We host 3 courts every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday for competitive pickleball drop in games. We have paddles and balls that can be checked out, and a few house rules posted in the gym.

Come enjoy our new Senior Mornings program in the gathering room. Freshly brewed coffee, local rotating doughnuts, and even the days newspaper are all provided for by a generous donation by VOSS and TOP POT. We hope you enjoy socializing with other Fircrest seniors and bring your friends!

 

 


 

Bridge for Beginners

The perfect way to get you started. This weekly meeting is ideal for anyone new to the game, returning to bridge after a break or for those who have played for some time, but would like some formal instruction.

Seniors are encouraged to participate in this free activity!
