Fircrest Jewelers and Fircrest Parks & Recreation invite Fircrest residents to take part in the Annual LIGHTS of FIRCREST Outdoor Holiday Display Contest!

The rules are simple:
Think merry. Think bright. Think creative.
And most important: Have FUN!

2026 Lights of Fircrest Contest

CATEGORIES:
BEST OUTDOOR Holiday TREE: The best decorated outdoor tree. You can decorate ONE or ALL the special real trees in your yard OR fill your yard with fake decorated trees… It’s up to you!

MOST TRADITIONAL / CLASSIC: Create a display with classic traditional or vintage holiday design. Simple but simply stunning.

BEST USE OF HOLIDAY CHARACTERS: Create a holiday SCENE with famous characters such as Frosty, Santa & Mrs. Claus, Rudolph, Buddy the Elf, etc. This does NOT mean just filling your yard with inflatables

BEST THEME: Create a display with your favorite holiday theme: Winter Wonderland, Cany Lane, Gingerbread or ??? The theme needs to be evident throughout your display

Want to decorate and be a part of the Fircrest Holiday FUN … but NOT enter the contest? Sign up to be a SPARKLE BRIGHT SITE! We’ll include you on the map but not in the competition! You’ll receive a SPARKLE BRIGHT SITE sign to post in your yard.

Each home participating in the LIGHTS of FIRCREST and SPARKLE BRIGHT SITE will receive a yard sign to display in a visible location in their yard. (Space is limited so sign up soon!)

And the BEST part … our community will get to enjoy the beauty of our decorated City!

An electronic list of registered homes, for self-guided tours, will be available on the City of Fircrest Website and Parks & Rec Facebook event page. Paper copies will also be available at the Fircrest Community Center (ONLY addresses will be listed. Names will NOT be included.)

NO COST TO ENTER

Must be a Fircrest resident to participate in the contest.

IMPORTANT DATES:
December 4: Registration deadline (Fri)
December 10: Distribute participant yard sign (Thurs)
December 11: Homes are decorated and ready for viewing (Fri)
December 11: Map and route ready and available (Fri)
December 17: Judging
