Looking for volunteer opportunity? The Fircrest City Manager is looking to fill one position on the Civil Service Commission. The initial appointment for this position will be completing the term of a resigning member whose term ends April 1, 2020. Civil Service commissioners serve 6-year terms. The Civil Service Commission is created to oversee the selection, appointment, and employment processes of police in the City. The position is voluntary. Applicants must reside within City limits and be a registered voter.
