Each 
spring, a nationwide high school arts competition is sponsored by the Members of the U.S. House of Representatives.
The Artistic Discovery Contest is an opportunity to recognize and encourage the artistic talent of our nation’s talented students.
If you know a young artist that resides in our district, please let them know about this opportunity. We will display all entries at our Congressional Art Competition reception later this year, and welcome a variety of formats including paintings, drawings, collages, prints, mixed media, computer-generated art, and photography.
The contest is open to all high school students in the 10th Congressional District. The overall winner of our district’s competition will be displayed for one year in the U.S. Capitol. The exhibit in Washington will also include artwork from other contest winners nationwide.
