Requesting Fircrest  and Ruston Court and Administrative Records

Please fill out and submit a Public Request for Records form.  A form can be found HERE. You may request court records by mail, e-mail, fax, or in person at the Fircrest Municipal Court.

Your request will be processed within 5 business days.  Court staff will notify you when the records are available.  After fees have been paid, copies may be picked up at the court during regular business hours from 8:00am to 4:00pm. If you cannot pick up your documents, please indicate your preferred delivery method on the form.  Please be as specific as possible in your request so we can assist you in receiving the correct documents.

*Please note that if a court case is active/open records must be requested through their perspective cities Public Disclosure Records request process.  If you are unsure if the case you are inquiring on is open please contact the court for assistance.

Court Records

Court Records are records that relate to in-court proceedings, including case files, dockets, calendars, and the like. Public access to these records is governed by GR 31.

Administrative Records

Administrative records relate to the management, supervision, or administration of a court or judicial agency. Public access to these records is governed by GR 31.1

Cost related to Records Requests

  • Photocopies –  $0.50 per page
  • Certified copies – $5 per document, $1 per additional page
  • CD Copy of Hearing Recording – $10
  • Appeals (Preparation & Tapes) – $40
  • Request to View – No charge, however must be scheduled in advance and NO photographing documents is allowed.
