It’s a 4K adventure for pups & their people!

Gather up your furry pets and join us for a FUN morning around Fircrest.

The Furry 4K is back and it’s going to be better than ever!

Here’s everything you need to know!

Date: Saturday, July 18, 2026

Times:

8:00 am Check in and WAG bag pick up begins at Fircrest Park Pavilion

8:00 am Obstacle course for your furry friends

8:30 am Early 4K for our furry friends that need a little extra space or time

9:00 am The “official” start for everyone else

* Early check-in and WAG bag* pick-up on Friday, July 17 from 5:00 pm – 9:00 pm at the Fircrest FUN Booth on the Community Center Plaza steps.

Route: all around Fircrest! (See route map below)

The Furry 4K course is 4 kilometers (approximately), easy and enjoyable for all ages and ability levels. ‘Watering holes’ will be available on the course.

A “WAG” bag for your pet is included *

Each pet will receive a raffle ticket for prize drawings

RULES OF PARTICIPATION:

• Pets must be current on vaccinations
• No aggressive pets
• No female dogs in heat
• No more than two furry friends per adult human
• Keep all pets on an 8-foot or shorter leash at all times
• Please, clean up after your pet
• Waste bags will be available at the start line
• Water stops will be set up along the way
• Run or walk the course only if you and your pet are in adequate physical condition
• Strollers are welcome on the course
• Depending on the number of registrants, you may be asked to organize at the start line according to speed
• Please take lots of photos at the event and post on your social media with #fircrestfurry4K #fircrestfundays2026 #seeyouatthebark
