This is your chance to show off your amazing pet AND your photography skills! Enter today by going to the City of Fircrest Facebook Pet Photo Contest Event Page. Just follow this link: https://www.facebook.com/events/268858047470525/   Click on ‘Message Host’ (right next to ‘Hosted by City of Fircrest” on the event page) and send your pet photo with the following information: Pet Name; Pet type; Category Entered and Your name and address (to verify residency)

You’ll have a chance to win a $25 gift card to Choppers. And of course bragging rights!

There are four categories and voting happens over a two week period.
WEEK ONE entries are DUE by no later than SUNDAY, APRIL 26
VOTING takes place: APRIL 27 – MAY 3

Your pet photo and the category you are entering will be posted on the Pet Photo Contest Event Page before voting begins.
Fircrest residents will be encouraged to vote on their favorite photos during the open voting period listed below.
The photos with the most likes (hearts) at the end of the voting period will win the prize for the category entered.

DEADLINES:
Week one entries are due by no later than Sunday, April 26th.
Voting takes place: April 27 – May 3
Week two entries are due by no later than Sunday, May 3.
Voting takes place: May 4 – 10

THE RULES:
Be creative! Have fun!
You are welcome to enter a photo of any type of living animal, as long as they are your pet.
Photos must be received through Facebook Messenger by deadlines listed.
This contest is open only to Fircrest residents.
In the event of a tie, representatives from the Fircrest Kiwanis Club and the City of Fircrest will break the tie.
One winner per family.
Winners will be contacted by email by no later than three days after voting is complete.
Photos may be featured on the City of Fircrest Website.
