Dear Community Members,

As temperatures rise, we understand the importance of staying cool and safe during the heat wave. To provide a respite from the high temperatures, we are pleased to announce the opening of the Roy H. Murphy Community Center Cooling Center, available for the next three *four* days.

Cooling Center Details:

•     Monday, August 14, 2023, 1 pm – 9 pm

•     Tuesday, August 15, 2023, 1 pm – 9 pm

•     Wednesday, August 16, 2023, 1 pm – 9 pm

& Thursday, August 17th, 2023, 1 pm – 9pm

Location: 555 Contra Costa Ave, Fircrest WA, 98466

Services and Amenities:

The Roy H. Murphy Community Center is equipped with air conditioning, comfortable seating, and water stations to help you stay hydrated. Please feel free to bring any personal items you may need during your visit.

We encourage all community members, especially those vulnerable to heat-related illnesses, to take advantage of this facility. Whether you need a place to cool off, hydrate, or simply rest, the Roy H. Murphy Community Center is here for you.
