FURRY 4K

YOU choose the date!

The Fircrest FURRY 4K Pet Walk / Run is going VIRTUAL! This casual 4K Walk / Run around Fircrest may have a different look this year, but what remains consistent is a fun time with your furry best friends.

Here’s how it works:

• Register by July 26, 2020 by following this link: https://form.jotform.com/FircrestParksandRecreation/virtualfurry4kregistration
• There is NO cost to enter.
• Run, walk and stroll with your furry friends around Fircrest between Friday, July 17 through Sunday, July 26th.
• YOU can create the route you want to take around Fircrest OR follow the route provided for you.
• Submit a a photo of your pet(s) doing the Furry 4K on the Facebook event page by Sunday, July 26th.

The first 100 participants will receive: (one per family)

• a commemorative token
• AND be entered into a drawing for prizes, compliments of Fircrest Kiwanis.

IF you choose to create your own route, your route could be chosen for the 2021 Furry 4K. Here’s how it works:

• Post a map (or directions) of your NEW route on the event page.
• Route must be 4k in length.
• The course must be within the City of Fircrest boundaries and include the Pavilion at Fircrest Park during some point of the route.
• Judging will take place by July 28th. The winner will be notified that week.
• The winning route will be used for the 2021 Furry 4K Pet Walk /Run.
• The creators of the winning route will win a gift card to Choppers Holistic Pets, compliments of our sponsor Nurture Therapy Services in Fircrest.
