Be Earthquake Prepared! Fircrest Police Department is hosting an Earthquake Preparedness Presentation by Pierce County Emergency management. Thursday, November 30th 6:30pm-8pm. Fircrest Re Center 555 Contra Costa Ave. There will be a raffle for an emergency kit item. Fircrest Kiwanis will provide refreshments.

What we will be doing:
• Removing invasive plants (ivy and blackberries) near the trail system; we are prepping the site for planting native species
What to bring:
• Sturdy shoes, clothes to get dirty in, long sleeves, gloves, water
• Tools: pointed shovels, loppers, saw (cutting big ivy vines), sturdy rakes
