The City of Fircrest Water Department will be replacing the old 2” water main on the 400 block of Farallone starting July 30th. This project includes a new 8” water main, 1 Fire Hydrant, a new water service for each home from the new water main to the existing water meter, and asphalt patching at least half of the street. No replacement of curbs or sidewalks will be included in this project. Sections of your block will be closed during construction between 7:00AM to 3:00 pm for each working day. A minimal water outage will occur when the old water service is transferred to the new service. The crew will attempt to notify you by person with a door knock prior to the shutoff. We will work with the garbage schedule and any other concerns to make this project as least inconvenient as possible. Thank you for your patience and cooperation during this project.
