I have been honored to be a member of the Fircrest City Council since November 2015. During this time, I served as Mayor from January 2022 to December 2023 and Mayor Pro Tempore from January 2020 to December 2021. I also served as the Chair of the Fircrest Pool and Community Center Steering Committee.
I graduated from the University of Puget Sound with a major in Politics and Government in 1992 and graduated cum laude from Seattle University School of Law in 1997. I have been an attorney practicing in Tacoma since 1997 focusing on the areas of student loans, bankruptcy, immigration, business, and estate planning.
My family and I have lived in Fircrest since 2006. I have three children who have grown up in Fircrest and who have attended Whittier Elementary, Wainright Intermediate, Truman Middle School, Tacoma’s Science and Math Institute, and the University of Washington in Seattle. When not working and spending time with my family, I enjoy running marathons, weightlifting, and hiking. I have completed 71 marathons to date, including the Boston Marathon three times.
