Edwards Family Aquatic Center Pool Rental Application
Names Family Foundation Party Room Rental Application
The Edwards Family Main Pool rental applications will open to the public on Wednesday, February 21st at 12:00PM. Private rentals are only available on Saturdays and Sundays from 8:30AM-10:30AM between June 1st and Aug 25th, 2024. Saturdays in July are currently on hold pending scheduling for the FAST Swim Team’s Swim Meets. There is no waiting list available for these dates. Once the Swim Meets are scheduled, notice will be given in advance of additional dates becoming available to apply for.
Applications will only be accepted through fircrest.recdesk.com with a valid RecDesk account. New accounts can take up to 5 business days to approve manually by our staff. If you do not have an account, please create one in advance to avoid delay. Submitting an application does not guarantee rental. If you have limited access, we have a tablet available at the Roy H. Murphy Community Center for you to complete your application.

2024 Pool Rental Fees
The Edwards Family Main Pool
The Edwards Family Main Pool is only available for private rentals on Saturdays and Sundays from 8:30AM-10:30AM from June 1st through August 25th.
Pool rental fees are based on party attendance and residency. Attendance is the total number of people through the facility gate during your rental, whether the guests plan on swimming or not.
2 Hour Rental Cost:
People: 1-30 – Resident: $200 | Non-Resident: $300 | Non-Profit: $230
People: 31-60 – Resident: $300 | Non-Resident: $400 | Non-Profit: $350
People: 61-90 – Resident: $400 | Non-Resident: $590 | Non-Profit: $460
People: 91-120 – Resident: $500 | Non-Resident: $740 | Non-Profit: $580
People: 121-150 – Resident: $600 | Non-Resident: $880 | Non-Profit: $700
Security Deposit – Resident: $75 | Non-Resident: $100 | Non-Profit: $100

The Names Family Foundation Party Room Add-On

The Names Family Foundation Party Room Rental
The Party Room is available for rent throughout the year. The rental fee does not include admission to the Pool. Guest admission is coordinated by our Pool Manager
Rental Per Hour:
Fri-Sun – Resident: $75/hr. | Non Resident: $110/hr. | Non-Profit: $86/hr.
Mon-Thursday – Resident: $60/hr. | Non-Resident: $90/hr. | Non-Profit: $70/hr.
Security Deposit – Resident: $75/hr. | Non-Resident: $100/hr. | Non-Profit: $100/hr.

2024 Private Pool Rentals FAQ
Not all my guests will be swimming, do they count towards attendance?
YES, all guests that enter the facility are a part of your estimated attendance. The number of guests you enter on your application is the MAXIMUM number of people that will be able to enter the facility gates on the day of your rental. Staff and lifeguards are scheduled based of your attendance number, and we will not be able to accommodate a larger group on the day of your rental.
I am not sure how many people will RSVP to my party. What should my estimated attendance be?
On the day of your rental, your attendance will be the maximum amount of people allowed through the gates. Please estimate your attendance as accurately as possible. If your attendance changes, please let us know as soon as possible. You may request to make changes to your reservation with a minimum of 30 days notice.
When is the latest I can make a change or cancel my reservation?
Please notify us of any changes to your rental as soon as possible. Any changes must be made at least 10 business days prior to your rental.
Rentals that are canceled at least 10 business days in advance of the rental date will be charged a $10 administrative fee and refunded the remaining balance. Rentals that are canceled with less than 10 business days’ notice forfeit their reservation fee and will not receive a refund.
Can I come in to apply?
Yes, if you have limited access we have a tablet for you to apply at the Roy H. Murphy Community Center. All of our rentals are processed through RecDesk, and you will need to apply using a valid RecDesk account. If you need assistance to apply, please contact us and make an appointment.
What does a valid RecDesk account mean?
Accounts created online have to be manually approved by Parks & Recreation Staff. This process can take up to 5 business days. If you do not have a valid RecDesk account, please create an account as far in advance as possible to avoid delay in applying for a rental. Create an account here.
I would like to rent the pool on a Saturday in July, can I put a hold on my date? Is there a waiting list for these dates?
Saturdays in July are on hold for the FAST Swim Team swim meet scheduling. Notice will be given in advance when additional dates become available. July 20th will not be available for a rental. There is no waiting list, and no holds available for the additional Saturdays when they become available. We will announce availability on our website (cityoffircrest.net) prior to applications being accepted on our recdesk site (fircrest.recdesk.com).
When do I pay for my rental?
The full rental invoice must be paid within 5 business days after your rental is approved. There is no fee to apply for a rental. You will receive an email notifying you if your rental was approved with a link to your invoice and information regarding Fircrest facility rentals. Please check your inbox and spam or junk folders.
If your full invoice is not paid within 5 business days, your rental may be subject to cancelation.
I would like to rent the Party Room during an Open Swim Session. Can my guests access the pool?
Yes, IF your party/guests pay admission fees. Rental of the Party Room does not include admission to the Pool. If you would like access to the pool during an open swim session, please contact the pool manager the week before your rental to coordinate guest admission.
