The City of Fircrest is proud to celebrate 100 years as

the Jewel of Pierce County!

To commemorate this incredible milestone, several events and activities will take place throughout the year, culminating in our Centennial Celebration Week beginning September 14, 2025.

What began in 1907 as a vision for a residential park community soon flourished into the Town of Fircrest, officially incorporated on September 14, 1925. From there, a century-long tradition of neighborly support took root – through the volunteer fire program, community clubs, recreation programs, and more – shaping the vibrant City we know and love today.
