TPU Grind and Inlay Project on 19th

UPDATE:

The City of Fircrest has received the following statement from TPU regarding their 19^th Street Grind and Inlay Project:

“Street Operations has postponed the South 19^th Street project due to an equipment failure.”

We will keep you informed of any status and/or rescheduling updates. Thank you for your continued support and understanding.

Th Under Construction Man e City of Fircrest received notification that the City of Tacoma will be starting a Grind and Inlay asphalt project on the outside westbound lane of S 19^th St from just west of S Pearl St to S Mildred St starting today September 9^th. On Saturday the 11^th both westbound lanes may be closed due to paving efforts.

Please note the City of Fircrest streets may see increased traffic due to motorists attempting to bypass the congestion, patience and understanding are appreciated during this time to allow them to complete their project.
